WHO'S WHO IN IGBERE: "Focus on DIMGBA IGWE
The 2011 edition of "Who's Who in Igbere" profiles Dimgba Igwe (a journalist) among other
distinguished sons and daughters of Igbere who have excelled in their chosen careers and
contributed to the socio-economic development of Igbere.

According to the book, BIO: "Dimgba Igwe was born on May 16, 1956 at Okafia Igbere. He
attended Nigerian Institute of Journalism (1981 - 1983) and Institute of Biblical Ministries,
USA (1997-1999).

DEATH: Following his passing as a result of being knocked down by a hit-and-run vehicle
on September 6, as he jogged in his Okota, Lagos, neighbourhood a funeral arrangement
has been announced as follows:
  1. Service of Songs comes up at Evangel Pentecostal Church, 3–9, Chidi Okafor
    Street, Off Canal Avenue, Okota, Lagos, by 3p.m., on October 4, 2014.
  2. The interment, according to a statement by the Nigerian Guild of Editors will hold at
    his Okafia, Igbere, Abia State hometown on October 11, after funeral service which
    starts at 10 am.
